HERITAGE QUIZ



In the Heritage Quiz conducted by the heritage club, Aditi won the First prize, Sukhmani won the Second prize and Ankita won the Third prize.



NATIONAL SPORTS DAY



The Lemon –spoon race was conducted as a part of National Sports day activity. In the same, Divya Bhateja won the first prize, Aanchal Dham won the second prize and Vardini Vij won the Third prize. Student took part in this race with great interest.
CYBER CRIME AWARENESS



A couple of cyber crime awareness sessions were conducted where students were told about the ill effects of using social networking sites.




CAREER FEST


A career fest was organized by the counseling department where in various American Universities representatives visited the school. Class 12th took great interest in the same and posed many questions





CHART MAKING COMPETITION

During the Independence day celebration , the class won the second prize in the Independence day slogan writing competition. The chart had a portrait of Bhagat Singh along with a slogan.





SCHOOL FEAST




Class 12th was carrying out the Mount Carmel Feast Celebrations on 16th July, The students decided to showcase a Punjabi dance and enthusiastically participated. Choreographed by Damini, the dance was very energetic. The cabinet sung an inspirational song - Best day of my life. The show was a success and was appreciated by Sr. Swati.

Investiture Ceremony
On April 25, 2014, the school got ready to welcome the new school leaders. Harmala Ma'am introduced the office bearers of the school cabinet, the various captains confidently marched towards the stage. Led by the school pupil leader and the assistant school pupil leader, the four house captains and the other office bearers took the oath and promised to put in their best efforts to bring laurels to both the squad and the school. The principal addressed the gathering, displaying confidence in the new set of cabinet members and encouraged them to discharge their duties with utmost devotion and responsibility.
The following are the cabinet members appointed for the Session 2014-15:

CLASS ASSEMBLY


Class 12 A was in-charge of conducting the morning assembly from 7th to 11th April. Students spoke about teamwork as its importance in a student’s life cannot be undermined. Working together towards a common goal always results in harmonious success. Leadership was also taken up as a topic. Being a leader does not simply mean ordering others but to set an example by being an idol for the others. Self Reflection was discussed because its significance in one’s life is crucial, it’s only post self refection that a person can realize where he/she is lagging and what can be done to improve and excel. Self analysis is of utmost importance. On 9th April, students spoke about Ram Navami- the significance of the festival and how it is celebrated in our country. Topic related thoughts were also spoken by the students. The pledge, National Anthem and School Anthem were sung in accordance with the day fixed for each respectively.
